Having finally made the decision to retire from professional photography at the end of last year, I've since been asked by many previous wedding clients if I would photograph their new little families! So I've decided to fulfill my photography craving by occasionally undertaking a small number of portrait sessions. Therefore, if you'd like me to capture one of those special moments in your life, just let me know. P.S. Previous clients and friends and family receive special rates! See the portrait price list for more information.
With over 150 weddings and countless portrait shoots in my portfolio, it's with mixed emotions that I'll finally be hanging up my professional camera when my current bookings are fulfilled.
I feel so honoured to have shared such special days, to have met so many wonderful people, and quite simply.... to have had just so much fun.
But having fulfilled a lifelong ambition by becoming a professional photographer in my early forties, I'm now looking forward to having some well deserved free time to enjoy photography as my hobby. So I will still be behind a lens..... but I'll literally be photographing pastures new! If you ever see me in a field, please say hi!
Thank you so much to all my fantastic clients, you've been wonderful!
The website and galleries will remain live and accessible until 31st December 2015.
Here's a small selection of my wedding photos. Got to admit, I did shed a bit of a tear looking through them. Wonderful memories for me too.....
Wow, this was a hot one....over 90f! It's always lovely photographing weddings at my regular venues, but it's very special to have the once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph a wedding in a truly iconic setting. The private Fawley Hill Estate was just magical. Congratulations Charlotte and Matt, and thank you for having me photograph your wonderful day! P.S..... the beautiful cake was made by the bride's Mum!
The forecast rain thankfully stayed away for the stylish wedding of Tracy and Stewart at the beautiful Coworth Park in Ascot.
Set in 240 acres of idyllic parkland and just 45 minutes from London, Coworth Park is the perfect setting for a summer wedding. Evoking the timeless romance of the English countryside, with its scenic Lime Grove, wild flower meadows and sunken gardens, it provided a truly breathtaking backdrop to a truly beautiful wedding. Congratuations Tracy & Stewart!
What a fantastic wedding! Manisha & Simon had chosen my favourite Ufton Court to host their wedding day, as the extremely flexible and professional team have a wealth of experience when it comes to hosting bespoke and unusual weddings. With two ceremonies in one day, the colourful Indian celebrations began with a wonderful surprise from the 'Stags'. unbeknown to the groom, they had organised a traditional Indian Baraat, whereby the bridegroom travels to the wedding venue on a mare, adorned in traditional Indian finery, accompanied by dhol drummers and his family members. At the meeting point of the two families, the groom was greeted with garlands, and the brides mother performed a traditional aarti ceremony to remove darkness and wave in light.
After the Indian ceremony, the fusion of the two cultures continued as the bride wore a stunning white wedding dress and the groom adorned tails for the civil ceremony.
It was an honour to photograph your amazing wedding, Manisha & Simon, and to meet your wonderful family and friends!

With wonderfully philanthropic ideals, Vani & Neil chose the beautiful Mill Hall at Mary Hare Grammar School for the Deaf in Greenham as their wedding venue, as all wedding proceeds go directly to the school charity. Between heavy showers, we took every opportunity to venture out into the beautiful grounds surrounding this historic building, as well as making the most of the magnificent interior including the grand staircase, bathed in light from the vast leaded windows. Beautiful Cowarth Park in Ascot is the venue chosen for Tracy & Stewart's July wedding. So on a warm May afternoon we went for a stroll around the grounds, snapping away while we walked, whilst being entertained by a polo match, a magazine fashion shoot vying for the most photogenic positions.... and a swan who wanted a piece of the action!
As practicing in front of the camera in preparation for the big day is the main reason for a pre wedding photography shoot, it doesn't have to be at the wedding venue. So for Manisha and Simon's shoot, we chose the picturesque Kennet & Avon canal as our backdrop.
The vast private grounds surrounding Sir William McAlpine's estate in Fawley, Buckinghamshire is the enchanting venue chosen by Charlotte & Matt for their July wedding. Weddings here are reserved only for those with a personal connection to to the estate, and so the pre wedding shoot was a valuable experience to check out all the photo opportunites before the big day. I can't wait for July!
How lucky we were to catch the last of the sun before the rain set in, so that Sammy and Ant could experience being in front of the camera before the big day in three weeks time... not long now!
Ufton Court was the picture perfect venue chosen by Sian and Andy to host their beautiful Christmas wedding. With the fire roaring in the Great hall and the historic Tythe Barn adorned with fairy lights and boasting a huge Christmas tree, the scene was set for a wonderfully festive wedding celebration. Yet again the team at Ufton Court were fantastic as always! Congratulations Sian & Andy!
