Welcome to my Blog of bits and pieces.....
As a recommended photographer at Ufton Court I've photographed many beautiful weddings there, but James & Sarah's was the first time I've had the pleasure of a wedding date coinciding with the bluebell woods in full bloom. Yet another photogenic feature of beautiful Ufton Court!

A voucher for baby photography makes a wonderful gift to new parents. Just contact me for more details.

Aah, the beautiful wedding of Sarah & Mark at one of my favourite Hampshire venues, the very photogenic Highfield Park.

Top Wedding Photography Tip #2
For the bride.......The big day is here and you'll want the preparations to go smoothly and beautiful photographs to be taken.... so here's some ideas.
♥ Keep all the bags of wedding items in one corner of the room... it's amazing how many there are!
♥ Throw away rubbish as you go along
♥ Remove any tags on clothing and labels on shoes (sticky shoe labels can be a nightmare to remove!) prior to the big day.... and ensure you have scissors to hand just in case!
♥ There's nothing worse than a bridesmaid announcing her dress doesn't fit, so ensure the bridesmaids have recently tried on their dresses, particularly if they have been altered.
♥ Have an emergency kit containing a needle and cotton, scissors, plasters, safety pins, rescue remedy for last minute panics, ibuprofen gel for painful feet, .....and a lipstick to go in the groom's pocket!
♥ Nominate someone that's getting ready with you to be the contact for fielding phone calls.
♥ Treat yourself to a lovely bottle of champagne..... not only will it make you feel special, but it makes great photos!... and have glass champagne flutes at the ready.
♥ Have your perfume, jewellery, shoes, garter, flowers and gift from the groom ☺ ready to be photographed.... detail, detail, detail!
♥ And finally....reserve a tidy corner of the room, near a window or natural light and with a full length mirror, for photographs as you're fastened into your beautiful dress. It's lovely to see the back of the dress and the smile on your face!
How exciting!

According to an old Italian saying, It's supposed to be lucky to have rain on your wedding day. If the saying is true, Sian & Alan are owed bucket loads of good luck! It rained constantly throughout their Berkshire wedding at All Saints Church and St.Anne's Manor in Binfield. But we still captured a lovely set of photos as the smiles and the laughter remained just as constant! Congratulations Sian & Alan!

What a beautiful day! The first sun of spring shone on Jade & Steven as they married in historic Hambledon Village Church. The drinks reception was held in the magnificent gardens of Danesfield House in Marlow before moving into the ornate Versailles Suite for the wedding breakfast.
Congratulations Jade & Steven!

What a beautiful, but very cold wedding! The ceremony was held at St. Peter's Church in Marlow followed by the reception at Bisham Abbey.

Top Wedding Tip #1
This one is for the wedding guests....
Wedding days are lovely and relaxed, but to help the happy couple get the best of their photos, there are some things you can do to help....
After the ceremony please keep an eye out for when the group photos are going to begin. If we can get through the group photos as quickly as possible the bride & groom can have more time with their guests. So often people think it's the photographer taking a long time, but having done it hundreds of times, a professional photographer can get through these photos really quickly. So, if you need to check in to the hotel, go to the bar, go to the loo, watch the football (!) or disappear for any reason, please check that you're not going to be needed imminently for family photos

It's always an honour to be chosen as a military wedding photographer in Windsor, but this beautiful wedding had the addition of Christina's wonderful American family. And the girls were just so brave..... it was probably the coldest March day I've ever known! You were stars!

Pre wedding portrait shoots are such a good way to get used to the camera. Most people don't like having their photo taken but to have the opportunity to sample how easy it really is makes such a difference on the big day.

What a very cold day at Ufton Court with Sarah & Tom, but lovely to see the new Archer's Barn in its finishing stages. What a fantastic facility.... looking forward to seeing it in all its glory at my next wedding there!
