There was a wonderful 'East meets West' influence to the very emotional wedding of Tina & Lewis at beautiful Northcote House in Ascot. From a Chinese scroll as an alternative to a guest book, to chopsticks on the tables....hints of Tina's Chinese ancestry were in abundance. A Chinese Lion danced to welcome the couple into the reception followed by a Chinese Tea Ceremony after the wedding breakfast. Steeped in tradition, a Chinese Tea Ceremony is the most sacred ritual of Chinese nuptials and serves as the bride’s symbolic introduction to the groom’s family. Tina's and Lewis's guests certainly had a wonderful day to remember!
Few places combine the classic and contemporary with quite the same elegance as Northcote House. With its breathtaking beauty and historic grandeur, set in 65 acres of landscaped gardens, mature woodland and wonderful views across Berkshire, this Grade II listed Neo-Georgian mansion seems almost tailor-made for weddings
The house nestles among woodlands and manicured lawns, designed by the renowned Capability Brown. And in the heart of the garden lies a mirror-flat lake, the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs.
I am a honoured to be a recommended photographer by Northcote House. To view this beautiful venue contact Wedding Co-ordinator, Sharmaine Pryor on 01344 634510. They also have an album of my photos from a previous wedding, so just ask to view it when you visit.
