Laura & Chris's Vintage Wedding Photography The Mill House, Swallowfield, Berkshire

Weddings are always special occasions, but to have the opportunity to photograph Laura and Chris's wedding in the beautiful historic church of St Mary the Virgin in Silchester was certainly an honour. You just couldn't help but be moved by the depth of history in every inch of this beautiful building.  Famous for being sited within the ancient walls of the Roman town of Calleva Atrebatum, the church itself dates back to the 13th century.

Following the beautiful ceremony, the guests moved to The Mill House Hotel in Swallowfield for a very vintage reception. This charming character hotel, dating back to 1823, retains many period features and perfectly suited the couples choice of wedding theme. With the marquee in the grounds bedecked with bunting and vintage crockery, and the whole hotel dedicated to the wedding party, the guests certainly enjoyed a warm and intimate welcome to celebrate the marriage of Laura and Chris.
